One of the larger independent power producers headquartered in Denver, formed in January 2021 by merging Novatus Energy (wind and solar) with Colorado-based Southwest Generation (natural gas). Not a pure-play renewable company: at formation the fleet was about 1.9 GW wind/solar vs 2.3 GW gas, and it has grown via acquisitions like a 1.2 GW solar portfolio.
